Since 2019 we had been recognized for taking the Business Program to contribute in Peru sustainable by the the GRI - Global Reporting Initiative - Amsterdam.
Peruvian Traditions was established from an unwavering passion for the world's finest materials, a commitment to high quality, and a deep focus on social and environmental sustainability.
Siblings and founders of Peruvian Traditions, Claudia and Carlos Cordero Berkovic, embarked on a journey into a world of colors and textures, captivated by the remarkable versatility and excellence of alpaca yarn. Motivated by their vision, they decided to undertake several research trips through the Andes of Peru. Their goal was to discover the best craftsmen, raw materials, and suppliers, with the aim of providing customers with superior manufacturing solutions using alpaca fiber.
Countless individuals drive our company's success — from our dedicated team in Peru to artisans in workshops across Arequipa, Cusco, and Lima. The essence of our achievements lies in the people forming the backbone of our operations.
